Howdy, all!Diego is working on a new Bender. This particular picture is part of a larger piece that will end up being the cover of the printed book. I actually asked him to hold off on finishing it till I let you all have a look.
I compiled a small collection of your suggestions and sent them along for references.

Yup, that's Bender! His facial expression is slightly too similar to the picture of Saint though. The look is right but that expression isn't really him. To me, at least.

I have to agree with Chockeela the expression is all wrong. He's hot; no doubt about it, but he looks just like saint.

As cute as this guy is, he really looks more like the pic you have of saint... maybe it's the facial expression, or the lack of weathering any Aussie's face gets when he spends a few years in the outback, that would only be compounded by spending time on the ocean and then traveling out west.
There is just not enough character in this face to be Bender. Great Looking for Saint though.
